Ande-Ande Lumut FEED Completion: Official Press Release
Published 30 September 2026 · PT Tri Panji Puring
JAKARTA, INDONESIA – PT Tri Panji Puring, a premier engineering and energy services contractor, is proud to announce the successful completion of the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) phase for the Ande-Ande Lumut (AAL) Field Project. Operated by Prima Energy within the Northwest Natuna Production Sharing Contract (PSC), this milestone reinforces our commitment to delivering world-class engineering solutions in frontier greenfield environments.
The AAL project presents unique technical challenges, situated in approximately 73 meters of water depth with no pre-existing upstream infrastructure. The field is characterized by heavy oil reserves (12 to 15-degree API), requiring highly specialized extraction and processing architectures.
To ensure optimal operational efficiency and stringent adherence to environmental and safety standards, PT Tri Panji Puring has finalized a robust Phase-1 field development concept, which encompasses:
- Central Production Platform (CPP): A state-of-the-art, seabed-piled fixed platform designed to accommodate initial production from seven horizontal wells.
- FSO Integration System: A seamless connection between the CPP and a Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) unit, utilizing either a bridge-linked structure or a suspended catenary flexible production line to safely transfer crude oil.
- Subsea Power Architecture: A highly reliable subsea catenary power cable system transmitting electricity from the FSO’s power generation unit to the CPP, critically supporting the Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) required from the onset of production.
PT Tri Panji Puring remains dedicated to upholding the highest standards of operational excellence, safety, and regulatory compliance as we continue to support the strategic development of Indonesia's energy sector.
