Ande-Ande Lumut: Our Commitment to Offshore Engineering
Published 30 September 2026 · PT Tri Panji Puring
PT Tri Panji Puring is pleased to announce the successful culmination of the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) for the Phase 1 development of the Ande-Ande Lumut (AAL) Field, operated by Prima Energy in the Northwest Natuna PSC.
As a world-class engineering partner, we approach every project with a commitment to technical precision, operational risk management, and stringent regulatory compliance. The AAL development involves extracting 12 to 15-degree API heavy oil in 73 meters of water depth, entirely independent of existing infrastructure.
To overcome these frontier conditions, our engineering framework integrates a seabed-fixed Central Production Platform (CPP) for seven horizontal wells, dynamically linked to a Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) unit. Recognizing the heavy oil characteristics, our design incorporates a sophisticated subsea catenary power transmission system from the FSO to power the CPP’s Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESPs).
This successful FEED completion reflects PT Tri Panji Puring’s unwavering capacity to deliver viable, high-integrity offshore concepts that align with Indonesia's upstream energy strategies and international best practices.
