PETRONAS the operator of BTORF onshore facility and BTJTA in Gresik, east Java, Indonesia.

PETRONAS has identified the need for using the 3D laser scanning technology for updating the data and as built drawing both for onshore and offshore facility, it’s need an accurate 3D survey data including 3D semi and full intelligent PDMS model to enable follow on engineering design of the tie ins, retrofit and future works.

This project starting from site orientation, survey 3D laser scanning and modeling point cloud that produce 3D models solid objects both in CAD software and 3D PDMS software and also for 2D Drawing as documents deliverable which is as part of 3D assets management..

TRI PANJI PURING was deploy 3D Laser Scanners as the primary method of on-site data collection. However in line with providing the best solution available for the project, PT. TRI PANJI PURING also proposes the combined utilization of conventional Total Station / Dimensional Survey for critical areas.

TRI PANJI PURING was make available adequate resources to carry out the survey by means of 3D laser scanning. This was include all necessary personnel, equipment, hardware and software. PT. TRI PANJI PURING proposed survey teams has extensive experience of survey work on onshore and offshore facilities and has current safety certificates issued by accredited training institutes. Merakes development is an important initiative for ENI that will contribute to regional growth and consolidate leadership role in the offshore South Kutei basin.

ENI Indonesia has recognized the complexity of additional works associated with the modifications field and the necessity to minimize shut down times during the works, It has therefore decided to have an accurate 3D point cloud developed using the latest laser survey techniques to facilitate engineering and to minimize risks associated with clashes during the installation period.

3D Laser Scanning is a non-contact, non-destructive technology that digitally captures the shape of physical objects using a line of laser light. 3D laser scanners create “point clouds” of data from the surface of an object. In other words, 3D laser scanning is a way to capture a physical object’s exact size and shape into the computer world as a digital 3-dimensional representation.

Eni East Sepinggan instruct PT Saipem Indonesia to design, procure, construct and install by-pass line which allow the production of Jangkrik Main directly routed to inlet LTS Train 1. This modification to be done on-board

FPU Jangkrik which currently in operation. This activity to be considered as brownfield modification of existing FPU Jangkrik facility.

The accuracy of the by-pass spool design shall be considered as zero tolerance due to criticality of the installation schedule, safety aspect, logistic and etc. Therefore as essential preparation to intially start design activity, an accurate as-built condition (for the area which impacted by the modification) shall be established as design reference.

3D Laser Scan by PT Tri Panji Puring on the existing facility are planned on the area which impacted by the modification. The result of 3D laser scan will be converted as model reference of PDMS which allow PT Saipem Indonesia to properly and accurately design the by-pass spool.

The aim of this report is to inform the activities during survey in according to the activities stage and timeline. It started from applying the Working Permit, Safety Induction, Survey Activities and Survey Products

This report applies to Laser Scanning which covers the area of CL1 – CL2 Dryer Drum in according to the Scope of Work of this project.

Preliminary data verification during survey is conducted after survey activity, the intention is to check/make sure the object of today’s laser scanning of the designated area is completely covered. If found some object is not clear/missing, the team will re-do to complete it on tomorrow

The final product from this project are 3D Point Cloud, TrueView, 360° Panoramic and 3D AutoCad Model of the facility.

The Tangguh LNG field is a rich natural gas deposit, discovered in 1994 in the bay of the state of West Papua, about 3,000 km from Jakarta. The reserves were calculated to be around one million tons of liquid natural gas per year, for 20 years.

Tangguh started production in 2009, only four years after obtaining approval from the Government. Now, Tangguh is operating at its capacity, and development is underway to add another new LNG plant (Train 3) at Tangguh.

BP Berau Ltd.  has identified the need for using the 3D laser scanning technology for updating their old data and as built drawing both for onshore and offshore facility, it’s need an accurate 3D survey data including 3D model to enable follow on engineering design of the tie ins, retrofit and future works. This project starting from site orientation, survey 3D laser scanning and modeling point cloud that produce 3D models solid objects in AutoCad Plant 3D format as documents deliverable which is as part of 3D assets management.

The Tangguh LNG field is a rich natural gas deposit, discovered in 1994 in the bay of the state of West Papua, about 3,000 km from Jakarta. The reserves were calculated to be around one million tons of liquid natural gas per year, for 20 years.

Tangguh LNG Expansion Project Train 3 consists of the onshore construction of a plant with a 3.8 MTPA (millions of tons per year) liquefaction capacity, onshore receiving facility, LNG and condensate loading berth, boil-off gas recovery, utilities, flares, and associated infrastructure

The new plant had to be integrated into an existing facility with two LNG trains in operation, managing the design accordingly as well as the necessary tie-ins.

BP Berau Ltd. has identified the need for using the 3D laser scanning technology for all tie-ins location, and produce accurate 3D model and also 2D AutoCAD format.

PHI is the holding company of PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM), the operator of the Mahakam Working Area. PHM is one of the main gas and oil producers in Indonesia.

PHM manages 7 oil and gas fields, namely : Bekapai, Handil, Tunu, Tambora, Peciko, Sisi Nubi, and South Mahakam. Most of these fields have been in production for more than 40 years
